Lake Orchard is tree-lined for total privacy, and since it opened in 2003, it has been renowned for offering one of the best fishing opportunities, not only for big carp, but also for big catch! Many have achieved their best personal bests time and again on this body of water, which has an estimated capacity of around 200 carp weighing between 9 and 55 lbs. There are currently at least 6/7 carps weighing over 50 lbs.
The lake, with an area of just under two hectares, can comfortably accommodate five fishermen and offers the possibility of moving and changing positions for a change of scenery. The bottom of the lake is composed of mud and gravel and its average depth is 8.2 feet, with marginal depths of about 4.9 feet . It includes three islands, secluded bays dotted with reeds, and a few deep marginal areas. The lake is home to a large population of quality fish, offering numerous opportunities for a successful fishing week.

Fish in the ponds
Orchard pond has around 200 carps, all selected for their quality and combative behavior. Fish offer a great balance between size, variety and beauty.

Regulation
The fishing rules established by Lucky Lake management are intended to protect the site, the fish and our customers, and to ensure the long-term success of fishing for all to enjoy. Failure to comply with these rules undermines this objective and will be considered a breach of your contract with us. We reserve the right to end our contractual obligations and ask you to leave the fishing site without compensation.

Anglers will NOT be allowed to enter the resort until 1pm on the Saturday they arrive, giving us time to ensure that all facilities are cleaned, sanitized, and safe for your visit. Fishermen who leave must remove their rods from the lake by 9 am and leave the premises by 10 am on the day of departure, leaving the resort clean and tidy.
Anglers accompanied by guests under the age of 16 are welcome, but they must be under the constant supervision of an adult who must accept full responsibility for their actions, well-being, behavior, and safety.

Orchard Lake has several carefully designed stations all around the body of water. Each station offers a unique fishing angle, borders, deep areas, islands or more open areas to vary approaches and maximize your chances of catching.
The stations are spaced out to guarantee the calm and privacy of each fisherman. Whether you prefer stalking, bottom or surface fishing, each location immerses you in an experience that is as close as possible to nature.

Where is Orchard Lake located?
Located within the Lucky Lake Estate in Marne, Orchard Lake is a peaceful pond surrounded by nature. Only a few minutes from Vitry-le-François, it is easily accessible by car and has a car park directly near the posts.
Far from noise and stress, Orchard Lake offers an ideal setting for carp anglers looking for peace, space and authenticity.

How much does a stay cost?
1625€ per week for 4 fishermen and 1800€ for 5 fishermen. The stay is from Saturday to Saturday: arrival from 1 pm, departure before 10 am. One person pays for the whole week when booking online (secure payment).
The price includes access to the Orchard pond for your group, the use of the stations, the use of the stations, the nearby parking and the equipped accommodation/lodge (kitchen, fridge, microwave, microwave, coffee machine, TV...). The bait and consumables remain your responsibility (shop on site).
👉 Important: inquiries can be sent via the contact form, but reservations will not be taken by phone or message. This allows us to guarantee better organization and avoid duplications.
Is there a fishing store near the estate?
Yes, directly on site! The estate offers its own fishing store open every day for our customers.
You will be able to find everything you need for your sessions without having to leave the site: high quality baits, seeds prepared by us, Tigernuts, as well as small essential equipment (sinkers, hooks, etc...).

Are pets allowed?
Yes, your four-legged friends are welcome at Lucky Lake. We simply ask the masters to respect a few rules of etiquette:
- Respect for the environment: Make sure that they do not degrade the vegetation and do not dig holes on the banks.
- Fish safety: Your animals must be kept away from reception areas (carpet, weighing) to avoid stress or injury to carp.
- Cleanliness: It is mandatory to always collect your animal's droppings to leave the site clean for the following fishermen.
Are there restrictions on the baits or hooks used?
Yes, in order to protect fish and the body of water:
- Boilies: allowed (you can bring your own).
- Seeds: only those prepared and supplied by the estate.
- Tiger nuts: only possible if purchased on site, limited to 2.5 kg/person.
- Imitation baits (plastic, moss, cork, etc.): forbidden.
- Hooks: barbless or micro barb only (recommended sizes 2/4/6).
- Line: mono ≥ 0.35 mm, braid not allowed in the main line; leader ≥ 25 lb, tube ≥ 25 cm above the lead.
- OMC Twig and equivalents: forbidden.

Is it possible to eat on site?
There is no classic restaurant service on the estate, but a Food Package is available for anglers who want to enjoy meals prepared every day.
The Food Package includes:
- An English Breakfast in the morning (hot and savory breakfast, American/English type)
- A meal in the evening
The price is €220 per fisherman for both meals.
It is also possible to choose a half-package at €110 (only one of the two meals per day).
Food Packages must be booked a maximum of 5 weeks before arrival and are to be paid directly on site.
A practical option for those who prefer to focus fully on their fishing session.

If the situation requires it, first contact the emergency services (112) and then inform us so that we can assist you and facilitate access to the site.
What is the minimum length of stay?
Stays at Orchard Pond are only available for a week, from Saturday to Saturday.
This duration allows you to fully enjoy your fishing session, to explore the various positions and to live an immersive experience at the water's edge, without constraints.
Arrivals are from 1 pm on Saturday, and departures before 10 am the following Saturday, in order to give time to the LuckyLake team to prepare the places for the next fishermen.
Is the lodge equipped?
Yes, the Orchard Pond Lodge is fully equipped to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people.
You will find everything you need for a week of fishing in the best conditions:
- Full kitchen: fridge, microwave, oven, oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and utensils.
- Relaxation area: dining area, sofa, television.
- Bathroom: shower, sink and WC.
- Electricity and heating are included, with sockets to charge fishing equipment or your devices.
The lodge is located directly near the posts, which allows you to keep an eye on your canes while enjoying real comfort.
Is it possible to book the entire Lucky Lake estate?
Yes, it is possible to completely privatize the Lucky Lake estate, including the two ponds (Orchard + Willow) and their accommodations, for a group of up to 8 fishermen maximum.
This option is offered at a rate of 2900€ per week (from Saturday to Saturday), and allows you to take advantage of the site exclusively:
- full access to both bodies of water
- all available positions
- The two lodges
- no other presence on the domain
