Memories Fishing on our lakes

Discover Orchard & Willow
Orchard (2 hectares) and Willow (1.8 hectares) each offer their own distinct character: one lake is accessible and highly productive, while the other is wilder and more technical, perfect for anglers seeking a challenge. On site, several clearly marked swims allow you to set up comfortably and fine-tune your fishing strategy.
Thanks to the map below, you can easily visualize the layout of the swims, identify key holding areas, and understand the configuration of both lakes before your arrival. Can we come fishing with our family or children?
Yes, absolutely. At Lucky Lake, we have designed the experience for everyone: anglers, companions and children. You can come with family or friends and enjoy the lodge, nature and peaceful surroundings.
Children are welcome under the supervision of a responsible adult, and each angler has their own private spot. The pond thus becomes a place for relaxation as well as carp fishing, in a safe and suitable environment.
Is there an angling shop near the estate?
Yes, right on site! The estate has its own fishing shop, open every day for our guests.
You will find everything you need for your fishing sessions without having to leave the site: high-quality bait, seeds prepared by us, Tigernuts, as well as essential small equipment (sinkers, hooks, etc.).
👉 For details of products and prices, visit our Shop.
Can we book the entire Lucky Lake estate ?
Yes, it is possible to privatise the entire Lucky Lake estate, which includes both ponds (Orchard + Willow) and their accommodation, for a group of up to 8 anglers.
This option is available at a rate of 2,536£ per week (Saturday to Saturday) and allows you to enjoy exclusive use of the site:
- full access to both bodies of water
- all available positions
- Both lodges
- no other presence on the domain
As this option requires specific availability management and a personalised quote, it cannot be booked directly via the ‘Booking’ page.
👉 To request the privatization of the domain, simply contact us via the page Contact.
We will get back to you quickly to check your dates and finalize your request.
What types of fish can be found in ponds?
The Lucky Lake ponds are exclusively dedicated to carp: mirror, common, linear and leather carp. The stock is selected for its quality and fighting spirit. You will fish in a private lake, populated only by carp, to maximise your chances and enjoy a real carp fishing session in the Marne.
Are the lodges equipped?
Yes. The lodges on the estate are not used as main accommodation; anglers sleep at their fishing spots, in tents or bivvies, but they offer all the comforts you need during your week: fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, hob), coffee machine, television and bathroom with shower.
They are designed as a practical space for cooking, showering, resting for a few hours and enjoying a little comfort. You fish outside, but you have a clean and functional place just a few metres away.
Is it possible to eat on site ?
There is no traditional catering service on the estate, but a Food Package is available for anglers who wish to enjoy meals prepared each day.
The Food Package includes:
- An English Breakfast in the morning (hot and savoury breakfast, American/English style)
- An evening meal
The price is £220 per angler for both meals.
It is also possible to choose a half package for £110 (only one of the two meals per day).
Food Packages must be booked at least 5 weeks before arrival and are to be paid for directly on site.
A convenient option for those who prefer to focus fully on their fishing session.
Can I bring my own fishing equipment ?
Yes, and it is even mandatory. Each angler must bring their own equipment (rods, reels, detectors, lines, etc.). Please ensure that you comply with the estate's regulations regarding authorised equipment (type of hooks, number of rods, line diameter, etc.).
If you have forgotten an accessory or would like to add to your equipment, there is a shop on site where you can purchase bait, consumables and small items suitable for carp fishing.
Are there any specific rules to follow on the estate ?
Yes, as in any private carp fishing field, Lucky Lake has precise regulations to guarantee the safety of the fish, the tranquility of the angler and the quality of the site. For example: arrival from 1 p.m. on Saturday, departure before 10 a.m. the following Saturday, specific equipment, and respect for the environment. For all the rules, please consult the page” Regulation ”.
